It’s official: Lynk and Co to be launched in PH

MANILA: Lynk and Co is set to be launched in the Philippines within the month.

Based on the invitation sent to Zigwheels Philippines, the automotive marque is set to be officially introduced to the country on March 11. Its local distributor shall be United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI) — which is the local arm of Chery and Foton.

To note, UAAGI is under the helm of its chairman Rommel Sytin.

Aside from its launch, the marque shall also be present at the highly-anticipated 2024 Manila International Auto Show and is expected to showcase its local lineup there.

Speaking of which, the company has yet to reveal its roster, which is expected to be on brand's local reveal.

Co-owned by Geely and Volvo (with both having their respective local distributors), the soon-to-arrive brand — which was designed and engineered in Sweden and born digital — claimed that more than 600,000 vehicles were already delivered to buyers since its inception in Berlin back in 2016.
