JMC PH to debut Grand Avenue, Vigus at MIAS 2024 with lifetime engine warranty

MANILA: JMC Philippines announced that the Grand Avenue and Vigus pickup trucks will officially be launched during the country’s highly anticipated annual motor show. 

According to the local arm of the Chinese car brand, “JMC is setting the stage for the Grand Avenue and Vigus’ official Philippine launch at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2024 from April 4 to April 7, 2024.”

The JMC Grand Avenue is a lifestyle passenger pickup truck that offers ample power as well as decent exterior and interior features. 

Under its hood is a fifth-generation Puma 2.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic with Select Shift transmission.  On paper, the said powertrain setup makes as much as  174 horsepower with 450 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. 

On the other hand, the JMC Vigus is offered as a solution for fleet owners and operators. 

It is powered by a 4D25 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine that can produce some 128 horses with 315Nm of pulling power. 

And while we’re on the topic of engines, the Astara-led JMC brand noted that the two pickup trucks will be offered with lifetime engine warranties.
