This development is still aligned with Lopez’s promise of “evolving the brand’s current lineup and advancing its electrification efforts.”
Here are their supposed launch pads.
EV3
The Kia EV3—which was hailed as the Car of the Year winner in 2025—will have its formal launch on September 21. According to the distributor, the model will bring “bold styling, practical range, and easy-to-use technology to Filipino drivers and first-time EV buyers.”
Sporting similar elements as the EV9, the incoming Kia EV3 wears modern design cues in compact proportions.
It also comes with the Star Map design which is part of the brand’s “Opposites United” design philosophy.
PV5
On the other hand, the upcoming Kia PV5 will have its Philippine debut on October—probably at this year’s Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.
The Korean automaker’s distributor-partner noted that the model’s arrival will be spearheaded by the rollout of its cargo trim.
A fully electric van built on a modular and adaptable platform, the Kia PV5 is eyed to cater to local businesses, fleet management, and commercial transport.
Abroad, the commercial van—built on the marque’s Platform Beyond Vehicle architecture—offers up to 4,420 liters of cargo space and a range of up to 416 kilometers.
Kia Philippines said that guided by its promise, “Movement that Inspires,” it continues to make sustainable driving practical and accessible for every Filipino driver.
