MIAS 2025: Kia PH exhibits various mobility options

MANILA: Kia Philippines placed on spotlight four of its offerings at the ongoing Manila International Auto Show 2025.

The ACMobility subsidiary is displaying the EV9, Carnival, Sorento, and Sonet to reinforce Kia Movement as part of its aim to bring “cutting-edge innovation, performance, and style to Filipinos.”

The four-model lineup offers varying solutions to a wide range of mobility needs.

“At Kia, we believe in shaping the future where mobility is both innovative and sustainable. Through our Movement That Inspires, our initiative aims to bring this vision to life for Filipinos, empowering them to choose vehicles that align with their needs while embracing greener and more forward-thinking mobility,” Kia Philippines Chief Operating Officer Brian Buendia said.

Here are some details about the displayed models at the four-day motoring spectacle.  

Spearheading the lineup is the Kia EV9, which is the marque’s flagship model. The said product — which was hailed as the 2024 Car of the Year Awardee — is a full-electric battery electric vehicle.

Among its notable features are the following:

• 505-kilometer emissions-free range
• Seating capacity for six individuals
• Ultra-fast 350-kilowatt charging

Also showcased at the Kia booth is the Kia Carnival — the brand’s longest running nameplate.

Designed to provide premium mobility experience, the people carrier features a roomy cabin with numerous creature comforts. To note, the vehicle’s powertrain options are diesel and hybrid.

Joining the two at the display area is the Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid that offers an eye-catching design and hybrid technology to ensure an intelligent driving experience for adventurous families. The said offering entered the Philippine market early this year.

Rounding up the display is the Kia Sonet, which serves as the brand’s best-seller.

A favorite among Filipino drivers, the crossover boasts fuel efficiency, as well as fun and practical design — making it an ideal option for young drivers looking to have their own car.

Exclusive promos, discounts

As part of the Kia Movement at MIAS 2025, the distributor is presenting exclusive promotions and discounts to enhance accessibility to its models.

All-in low downpayment deals for the aforementioned models include P27,000 for Kia Sonet and P134,000 for Sorento.

On the other hand, the Kia Carnival EX Diesel can be had with an P40,000-price cut.

Additionally, Kia is offering exciting prizes to visitors who participate in test drives and make reservations onsite.
