MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has produced a total of 388,031 vehicles globally in the first five months of 2026. The aforementioned figure is equivalent to a 105.6 percent year-on-year increase for the brand.

According to the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI), Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) ranks second in the country’s sales charts for January-May 2026.
Specifically, it has sold a total of 29,785 vehicles within the aforementioned timeframe, thus securing a market share of 17.8 percent amongst CAMPI member brands.

Back in April 2026, MMPC likewise announced its intention to begin producing hybrid vehicles locally. The company is eyeing to start this in 2028 at its manufacturing facility in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
