Nissan ends Q1 2025 as 3rd best-selling automaker in PH

MANILA: Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) concluded the opening quarter of 2025 as the third best-selling automotive marque in the country.

According to the latest report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated and the Truck Manufacturers Association, the Japanese automaker’s local arm kept its position by selling 6,722 units in the first three months of the year.

Such allowed the company to retain its spot in the local automotive market for four consecutive months beginning December 2024.

To recall, NPI retailed more than 26,000 units last year driven by the launch of refreshed models, including the following:

• Navara
• Almera

Since the start of the year, the firm sold more than 2,000 examples each month led by the Navara, which continues to be Nissan's best-selling nameplate and the second-best-selling vehicle in the country’s pickup segment.

The said performance was also propelled by the collective sales push from the Terra, Urvan, and Livina, which all ranked within the top four vehicles in their respective segments.

Another highlight of NPI’s year to date is the introduction of the all-new Patrol — marking another milestone for the brand as it continues to build on its momentum to drive further growth in the market.

"Building on a strong 2024, we have already started 2025 with promising results," NPI noted in a statement.

"With our recent launch of the all-new Patrol and strengthened position in the market, we are confident that we can achieve continued success in the coming months."

Lastly, NPI noted that it aims to sustain its momentum by continuing to enhance the ownership experience with a stronger focus on customer satisfaction. The company remains committed to delivering exceptional products and services while further strengthening its presence across the country.
