MIAS 2025: Nissan drums up brand’s 55-year presence in PH
Local distributor displays 'accessorized' Patrol, limited-run Terra, Navara anniversary editions

MANILA: Nissan’s latest participation in the ongoing Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025 celebrates its 55 years of presence in the Philippines.
During its presentation, the Japanese marque’s local arm marked the milestone by showcasing a lineup that highlighted its success locally.

Taking the center stage is a specially-accessorized all-new Nissan Patrol that has attracted many event-goers.
To note, the full-sized sport utility vehicle comes with the following as standard:
3.5-liter V6 Twin Turbo engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission |
Six drive modes |
12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System with DIX virtual surround sound technology |
Two 12.8-inch rear monitors with Miracast, HDMI, and USB connectivity |
28.6-inch monolith display (made up of two 14.3-inch screens) at the front with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, as well as Bluetooth and USB connectivity |
Leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel, seats, and dashboard trimmings, door cards, and center console |
Triple-zone automatic air conditioning system |
Power windows and door locks |
Cooling box (under front center armrest) |
Ventilated seats |
Wireless charger |
Panoramic sunroof |

Aside from that, the Nissan Terra and Navara 55th Anniversary Editions can also be seen at the event.

Per Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI), the two exclusive offerings “embody the brand's enduring legacy” in the country. Combining ruggedness with retro-inspired styling, the two models sport modifications that include:
- Upgraded wheels and tires
- Unique side decals
- 55th Anniversary logos

To kick off its presentation, Nissan Senior Design Director Ken Lee, shared the design process behind the Patrol, Terra, and Navara through a video presentation that highlighted the blend of heritage and innovation found in Nissan's designs, touching on how the brand applies a shared philosophy across its SUV and pickup models.
Nissan brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli welcomed guests in the company’s booth.
Outside the main hall, the Nissan Z NISMO is also on display alongside the classic Nissan Fairlady Z.
Test drives are also available for the All-New Nissan Patrol, Z, Terra, Navara, and other models, allowing attendees to get behind the wheel and experience Nissan's model lineup firsthand.
"This year's MIAS gives us the opportunity to present vehicles that reflect our journey as we celebrate 55 years in the country," the company shared in a statement.
"Through the special displays of the Terra, Navara, and Patrol, we showcase our heritage with the models that have become beloved by Filipinos, reflecting the brand's legacy of trust and building a long-standing connection with our customers in the Philippines,” it added.
Aside from Nissan, more than 20 automotive brands were present at the MIAS 2025 which carries the theme, “Driven by Connection.”
Those who want to check out Nissan's special-edition vehicles and explore the brand's full lineup of vehicles may check out its booth from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. until April 13 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
