Omoda, Jaecoo PH all set for MIAS 2024

MANILA: Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines expressed its readiness in showcasing its lineup at the much-awaited Manila International Auto Show 2024.

In a statement, the company shared that it shall reveal its four-model roster namely the Omoda 5 and its electric counterpart E5, as well as the Jaecoo J7 and J8 at the event in line with the “Gearing Towards New Mobility” tagline.

Per Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines, the brands’ advantage is in its manufacturing strength. Its headquarters manufacturing base — with eight major branches and five research and development centers around the globe — adopts a production quality management system "at par with luxury brands.”

The firm added that the base has achieved the automotive industry's first application of the customer-to-manufacturer core-based on-time delivery process, customer experience and prioritizing establishing a new production mode of large-scale, personalized customization via industrial internet platform. Such resources can produce 300,000 complete vehicles and 200,000 knocked-down parts.

Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines noted that it is also ready in terms of aftersales support as the firm will provide clients a seven-year or 200,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty for internal combustion engine-powered models, and an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer battery, motor, and electric control warranty for battery electric vehicle offerings.

It has also partnered with DB Schenker to optimize resource allocation.

Relatedly, Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines is also fortifying its executive lineup as Abner Berdos joins the company as the vice president for the local subsidiary — in charge of operations.

Berdos is expected to “inject vigorous vitality” into Omoda and Jaecoo's business development locally.
