Curvistan is a gallery, event venue, and hangout all packed into one. The space, which was first exhibited in the renowned Glockenbach district in Munich, Germany, will feature recurring themes created by curator Stefan Bogner of the famed Curves Magazine. It celebrates Soulful Driving, honoring the thrill of the journey rather than the destination.

The first theme is Legends, which honors the most iconic race cars from Porsche's illustrious history in motorsport. Along with eight classic timepieces from brand partner Tag Heuer, a collection of archive images from the Porsche Museum Archive and Tag Heuer grace the walls of the space. There is also a unique collection of Curvistan-themed items sourced from the Porsche Museum available for purchase.

A classic Porsche 550 Spyder is situated in the middle of the space. This was Porsche's first model created specifically with motorsport in mind, and in 1954, with Hans Herrmann at the wheel, it won Mexico's grueling Carrera Panamericana endurance road race with an enhanced 1.5-liter, 117-horsepower engine.

Porsche engineers referred to this powerful racing engine as the “Carrera” engine. As a result, this suffix was exclusively used for Porsche's most successful performance cars. The Porsche Museum's experts have preserved Herrmann's actual car in its winning glory, and it is now on display for the first time in Singapore.
