Report: Next-generation Toyota Camry and RAV4 to debut in 2024, 2025

MANILA: Toyota looks poised in overhauling its lineup. According to the Australian website Drive, the brand-new Camry will make its debut in 2024, while the new RAV4 will follow in 2025.

Although the 2024 Toyota Camry is technically behind schedule, according to Drive, the sedan's development is still "well-progressed." Not a lot of details about the new vehicle are known yet, but it is anticipated to hit showrooms sometime next year.

As per information gathered by Drive, the 2025 Toyota RAV4 could arrive in Australia late next year or early the following year. In North America, production of this new model is also anticipated to start in October of next year.

Current-generation Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry, now in its eighth generation, continues to satisfy executive tastes and premium lifestyles with its roomy interior, plentiful creature comforts, and cutting-edge technology.

Five people may fit inside the Camry, and each one can enjoy the nine-speaker JBL audio system linked to a nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In 2022, Toyota Motor Philippines started selling the hybrid Camry. It has a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gasoline-electric hybrid engine with Toyota's HEV technology.

Current-generation Toyota RAV4

The RAV4, now in its fifth generation, sports Toyota's most recent design aesthetic. As a result of its evolution, it is now a crossover with a more sophisticated and high-end design, supported by the Toyota New Global Architecture platform. The RAV4 now has better handling, power, and appeal thanks to this improvement

The 2.5-liter gasoline engine under the hood of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid generates 175 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque on its own. With the hybrid system engaged, that output rises to 215 horsepower, giving it a modest advantage over the Camry hybrid that also utilizes the same engine.
