Save P250K on Mercedes-Benz E 200 AMG

MANILA: Mercedes-Benz Philippines makes the E 200 AMG more attainable. With a P4.89 million price tag, this vehicle also goes for zero interest, on top of some P250,000 in savings — the latter to be used as a cash discount, a deduction in down payment, or a payment holiday.

The E 200 AMG is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine, mated to a 9G-Ttronic with Direct Select lever and Direct Select steering wheel with gearshift paddles. Mercedes-Benz says that "along with a seamless power delivery, the versatile transmission also enhances quiet riding comfort and fuel-efficiency."

This Mercedes-AMG exterior boasts bold and muscular features, with  19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in titanium gray and with high-sheen finish. Its front bumpers with chrome trim and air intakes have a diamond mesh. A wide grille integrates the iconic Mercedes-Benz star as the centerpiece.

Side skirts are painted in the vehicle color with chrome inserts, window weatherstrip in polished aluminium, and bezel B-pillars and the bar on the rear side windows in high-gloss black.

The upholstery of the E 200 AMG is in Artico man-made leather or Dynamic microfiber in black. It has a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel wrapped in black Nappa leather with a flattened bottom. 

AMG Line bucket seats are generously bolstered, and rear-seat space is "more than acceptable, reaching the upper limits of the class."

Active Parking Assist Parktronic and a reversing camera show a clearer view of what is behind the vehicle in aid of reversing. The "pre-safe" feature detects instability during vehicle maneuvers when a collision or rollover seems imminent. It even generates "pink noise" through the audio system to lower possible effects of a potential collision on driver’s and passengers’ hearing.
