MANILA: Lexus Philippines is ready to update its lineup with introduction of the all-new ES next month.

So while waiting, here are some bits of information about the luxury sedan as seen in other markets.

Possible specifications
Abroad, the all-new Lexus ES is available in three variants namely 350h, 350e, and 500e. As their names suggest, the first is powered by a hybrid powertrain while the other two are fully electric.
The Lexus 350h comes with sixth-generation hybrid system that pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a high-output electric motor. This also has front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaMeanwhile, the Lexus 350e and 500e both have electric motors; the first one bearing one (in front-wheel-drive setup) and the other, two mills (all-wheel-drive).
Lexus Philippines has yet to reveal if the soon-to-be-unveiled products will come in hybrid, BEV, or both.
