MANILA: Following its recent private preview, Tesla formally made available the Model Y L in the Philippines.

    While it sports the same look as the standard Model Y, the Tesla Model Y L is slightly longer than the former. On paper, the latter measures:

    Powered by a dual motor setup in all-wheel-drive configuration, the vehicle can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour from rest in five seconds.

    Meanwhile, its floor-mounted battery gives the model an all-electric range of 681 kilometers. It also boasts adaptive suspensions and electronic damping shocks to ensure better handling.

    The Tesla Model Y L’s indicative vehicle price starts at P2.849 million. This comes with a basic vehicle warranty of four years or 80,000 km (whichever comes first) and battery and drive unit of eight years or 192,000 km.
