The iconic sedan gets a fresh new design, as well as a slew of high-tech features and a standard VTEC turbo engine for a dynamic and exciting drive.

The first Honda model to be sold in the Philippines was the Civic, which was introduced in 1991. As of October 2021, the Civic had sold over 132,000 units in the country.

Honda was able to achieve the “Exhilarating Civic” for the 11th generation by focusing on three core values: Design, Dynamics, and Human Machine Interface (HMI).

The all-new Civic features a more sophisticated look, keeping it in pace with its stablemates. The design combines elegance and sportiness in a stunning way. When compared to its predecessor, the compact sedan’s overall length is 29mm longer with a 37mm longer wheelbase.

It is equipped with newly styled headlights with either full LEDs or projector halogens. Daytime running lights (DRL) are standard across the range. Both the Civic V Turbo CVT Honda Sensing and the Civic RS Turbo CVT Honda Sensing also come with LED fog lights.

On the side, the all-new Civic flaunts its sleek lines, giving it an elegant and aggressive stance. In addition, the compact sedan’s long hood and sloping roofline provide more character. It also comes standard with side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Its front pillar was also moved back by about two inches, lengthening the hood for a more luxurious appearance. Visibility was also improved due to the improvements in the design of the door mirrors.

The S variant has 16-inch rims, while the V variant has 17-in alloys. The RS comes with 18-inch matte black wheels.

The entire rear end has also been redesigned. It now includes new  LED taillights that gracefully illuminate at night. Among the RS-exclusive features are black-painted side mirrors, doors handles, sharkfin antenna, trunk spoiler, and chrome-finished dual-exhaust pipes.

The interior of the 11th-generation Civic is also quite different from its predecessor. From the soft touchpoints to the honeycomb pattern on the vents, its minimalist design has been applied using high-quality materials. The all-new Civic could either come with fabric seats or a fine combination of suede and leather upholstery, depending on the trim level.

The latest model has plenty of cabin and cargo capacity, just like its predecessor. It nevertheless boasts more interior room than most sedans in the market. More space was added to make it easier to enter and exit the car. Furthermore, its larger dimensions mean improved rear-seat comfort. Personal belongings can be stored in compartments located throughout the cabin. Passengers will also be able to enjoy their conversations inside the vehicle with reduced noise, vibration, and harshness.

All variants of the all-new Civic come with either a seven-inch or a nine-inch touchscreen display audio. Both screens support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but the bigger screen includes Wireless Apple CarPlay. The S variant is equipped with four speakers, while the V variant has eight. The RS variant comes with a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

The all-new Civic also comes with dual-zone automatic climate control dual zone with rear air vents. All variants are also equipped with a seven-inch digital display with analog that is available for audio and Bluetooth functions, except for the RS which comes with a larger 10.2-inch full digital cluster. All these can be controlled from the steering wheel.

The all-new Civic is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder DOHC VTEC Turbo engine that churns out 178ps and 240Nm of torque. All variants get a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The compact sedan also has three different driving modes: Econ, Normal, and Sport.

Honda Sensing is now standard on all variants of the all-new Civic, as part of Honda’s mission to deliver “safety for everyone.” It includes collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive cruise control (ACC) with low-speed follow (LSF), lane keeping assist system (LKAS), road departure mitigation system with lane departure warning (RDM with LDW), auto high-beam (AHB), and lead car departure notification system (LCDN).

The Honda Sensing system uses a combination of a single monocular camera with a wider field of view and upgraded software to provide better recognition of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and road markings.

Honda’s “Safety for Everyone” global slogan is further strengthened by the all-new Civic’s G-force Control (G-CON) Collision Safety Body, which improves impact absorption for improved passenger protection in case of a collision. Customers can also expect the best collision safety performance from the all-new Civic, thanks to its upgraded safety technologies which are now standard on all variants. This includes speed-sensing door locks, multi-view reverse camera, and keyless entry system. Meanwhile, the RS variant also comes with side curtain airbags, Honda LaneWatch Camera, and walk away auto door lock function.

All variants also come standard with driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), vehicle stability assist (VSA), hill start assist (HSA), emergency stop signal (ESS), child lock, Isofix child seat anchor, security alarm, and immobilizer.

The all-new Civic received a five-star safety rating from the 2021 ASEAN NCAP, showing that it provides customers with better safety on the road.

The all-new Civic comes in five color variants: Morning Mist Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Lunar Silver Metallic.

Customers who reserve an all-new Civic V Turbo CVT Honda Sensing until December 31 will receive a free Modulo trunk tray and Module exhaust pipe finisher, in additional to all other promos available throughout the month of vehicle release until January 31, 2022.

The all-new Honda Civic comes in three variants, with pricing stated below:
