The 13 Hotel in Macau will chauffeur its guests in the most expensive Rolls-Royce Phantom
MANILA: We have seen a number of hotels and resorts which greet their customers with their ultra luxury infrastructure and utmost hospitality. But, the 13 Hotel in Macau has shown a different way of representing its luxury in front of its guests. Yes, the Joint chairman of The 13 hotel, Stephen Hung, ordered 30 highly bespoke Phantoms to chauffeur guests to and fro from the hotel.
The hotel is all set to be operational early this year. The particular order is the biggest in the history of Rolls-Royce and the estimated cost of it is around US$20 million. Rolls-Royce has shipped all the 30 Phantoms from Goodwood, England to The 13 hotel in Macau.
All the 30 Phantoms are finished with ‘Stephen Red’ exterior paint which was specified by Mr Hung. It is further complemented by a hand-painted gold twin coach line that is in accordance with the specially design The 13 motif. Further, the bespoke 21-inch wheels are also painted in ‘Stephen Red’.
Out of the 30 cars, two of them are the most expensive units ever built by the Rolls Royce. Now focusing on the most expensive Phantoms, these ultra luxurious saloons are carved with the inclusion of 24 carat gold on both the exterior and interior. The exterior gets 23.75 carat gold particles and the weight is specifically selected to achieve even disbursement. Due to this, the evolved paint is the most expensive and meticulously engineered ever by the brand.
The ‘Stephen Red’ colour scheme is also dominating within the cabin while the rear seats are finished with the chequered pattern that reflects the marble entrance hall motif of The 13 hotel. The clock in the cabin is designed by taking assistance from the master jeweller Graff.
Despite 20 feet long, more than 6 feet wide, these Phantoms are able to clock 100 kmph mark from naught in just 5.8 seconds. These two Phantoms will be exclusively reserved for the millionaire customers that will visit The 13 hotel frequently. The rest of the fleet will serve the other customers.
The 13 is a US$1 billion property which is evolved for the super rich for a comprehensive “lifestyle experience”. With 200 multi-level suites, each room has a separate lift opening. Each room is 2,000 square feet big while 31 are even larger. The largest suite has a ground area of whooping 30,000 square feet and is tagged as Villa de Stephen.
Though we are not much interested in the hotel but, these red Phantoms have surely gained our attention and we are awestruck.
