The Renewed Subaru XV in UK

MANILA: It's been three good years since the Subaru XV hit the markets and since then, the love for crossovers has increased manifold just because it combines the practicality and versatility. Keeping it in trend, its manufacturer, the Japanese brand has given it some updates especially in the UK market.

The updates not only includes some improvements to the chassis and suspension but also on the interiors as the moment you step inside you can see a revised instrument binnacle with upgraded LCD screen. The piano-black and metallic accents are scattered in some places like center console, dashboard, steering wheel spokes, and new shift knob. However, the most striking feature is the advanced infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen interface that even features pinch-style gesture control just like your smart phone. The audio and navigation info is displayed through a cool blue graphic theme and can be controlled through voice control or dash mounted control. Apart from this, the USB ports are also there for added convenience.

The major changes are happened under the skin and that is all because of Subaru's focus on improving the ride quality and reducing the NHV levels in the cabin. The steering ratio has been quickened a bit to make it more responsive while the rear suspensions has new springs to improve stability around the corners. The damper's pitch rates have been lowered to reduce body roll and give comfortable ride. The brand has also used more soundproofing material throughout the car ensuring enhanced passenger comfort.

With overall refinement, it has the same set of machines; the 2.0-litre inline-four cylinder gasoline motor and the 2.0-litre diesel engine. While the Subaru XV with changes is available for the European markets only, we still hope that the Philippine market will be seeing it soon.
