Toyota S-FR gets Sporty look via Gazoo Racing

MANILA: Recently, Toyota presented the concept model of the S-FR sports car in the Tokyo Motor show. The machine attained a good attention at the show. Toyota S-FR is a performance-driven machine which is fun-to-drive. Now, Gazoo Racing has decided to come up with sportier version of the S-FR in the Tokyo Auto Salon. The new version will be sleek and most importantly look like the racing version.

The racing version of Toyota S-FR is likely to get fender fares and carbon-fiber trims. Also, the S-FR racing concept gets additional aggressive design including front and rear wings. Toyota is all set to show-off a cooler version of S-FR with amazing appearance.

The Tokyo Auto Salon 2016 is likely to start from 15 January, 2016 at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. The Salon is particularly the platform to showcase creativity in automotive work. The production line is prepared to arrive soon and bring the excitement on the roads.

Although, Toyota has not revealed the full specs of the newly tweaked S-FR but the S-FR Concept was powered by a 1.5-litre JDM Corolla with DS4 Direct Injection Four-Cylinder engine that pumped out 130 bhp of maximum power. However, it is rumored that the car's engine is likely to receive upgrade and the kerb weight might get reduced in order to give the vehicle a racing profile. Now, we may think that Toyota Philippines should bring this car down to the country, but let’s wait for the bet to happen.
