Toyota, UCC release coffee blends to commemorate Crown’s 70th anniversary

MANILA: Toyota, in partnership with UCC, jointly developed original hydrogen-roasted coffee blends to commemorate the Crown’s 70th anniversary.

According to Toyota, the collaboration was the result of their shared commitment towards carbon neutrality, hydrogen innovation, and creating a better world.

All crafted “to capture each model’s concept and driving feel,” the four blends namely Sedan, Estate, Crossover, and Sport were inspired by the 16th-generation Crown models.

To note, UCC started mass producing hydrogen-roasted coffee as of April 2025 under its "Unlocking the power of coffee for a better world" initiative to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040.

The aforementioned hydrogen-roasted coffee products will be available at all six The Crown dealerships in Japan:

• Tokyo Toranomon
• Aichi Takatsuji
• Chiba Chuo
• Yokohama Tsuzuki
• Osaka Senri
• Fukuoka Tenjin

It can be recalled that the Toyota Crown was retailed locally as early as 1989 and assembled in the country alongside the Tamaraw FX. Sadly, it was discontinued after some time.
