Volkswagen CC Launched In The Philippines

MANILA: Volkswagen Philippines confirmed earlier that it will be bringing the luxury coupe, CC at the PIMS 2016 and the manufacturer launched it at the very first day of the event. The coupe is placed in the midsize luxury coupe segment. The Comfort Coupe, as the name suggest, this coupe has raised the bar for the other competitors in the segment. The sleek design, elegant accents in its exterior clearly defines what the coupe is all about. While the long hood and short rear makes it stand out of the crowd. The signature horizontal chrome grille, accompanying the sharp headlights with LED daytime running lights accentuates the luxurious appeal in an effective manner.

The four-door coupe is placed between Jetta and Passat and is capable enough to accommodate 5  people with ease. Kudos to its dimensions, which measure 4,802 mm X 1,855 mm X 1,417 mm (L X W X H) and wheelbase counting to 2,711 mm. The well defined character line in an upward slope gives it a unique appeal which somewhere is missing in the Jetta and Passat. In the cabin, front seats with 12 way adjustable, memory and massage function, Active Climate Control and premium quality materials makes your ride all the way enjoyable.

 

Under the hood, the Volkswagen CC is powered by a 2.0 TDI engine which is capable of producing 177 hp maximum power and is mated to a 6-speed Direct Shift Gearbox transmission system. With only limited units to grab in the Philippines, Volkswagen CC is priced at PhP 2,850,000 and will be showcased till 18th September at Volkswagen’s booth in the 6th Philippine International Motor Show.
