Local launches
PIMS presentations
We kick things off with some of the most memorable launches and previews at PIMS.
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) commenced its salvo with the launch of the ninth-generation Hilux, which now comes in a battery electric vehicle (BEV) format, alongside a more modern, futuristic look.
Also making an appearance at PIMS was the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, which was officially unveiled globally at the previous Japan Motor Show. Pre-order books were immediately opened after its Philippine debut.
TMP also brought in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle), which now stands as the topmost model offered by the local wing of the Japanese auto brand.

Meanwhile, Suzuki Philippines Incorporated finally unleashed the e-Vitara. Despite coming in second (in terms of launch dates) after the rebadged Toyota Urban Cruiser, it is still a milestone for the company as it is itss first “legit” electrified model in the country.
On the other hand, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) was eager to present the upcoming Outlander PHEV (plug-in hybrid vehicle) to the Filipino market. Its return seems to be a proving phase for the brand before bringing in the hybrid versions of the Xpander and Xforce.
Nissan, too, came out guns blazing with the launch of the all-new X-Trail e-POWER. It was presented alongside the all-new Kicks e-POWER, Navara Pro Plug-in Hybrid and Primera EV (electric vehicle).

Other local releases
Some other brands too made their mark and presences felt in June.
Geely Motor Philippines finally launched the EX2 after an abundance of appearances here and there. The nameplate has earned over 1,000 reservations since March 2026, which could be a reflection of how well it is received in China.

The new trim level effectively expands the nameplate’s roster and makes it more accessible to the masses, the same way it did with the Triton pickup truck.
Suzuki Philippines Incorporated’s motorcycle arm launched the Burgman 15, which is touted as a smarter means of commuting, while Yamaha Motor Philippines released the updated Mio Gear S earlier last month.
Returning to four-wheelers, Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines rolled out the Haval H7, which is the smaller hybrid brother of the larger Haval H9.

Promos in June
As we cap the first quarter of 2026, a handful of companies continued to rollout promos to sustain their momentum and bring more customers into the fold.
Notably, Ford Philippines extended its Employee Pricing Program through the month. With it, regular customers can enjoy benefits that only employees of the company experienced, like cash savings, all-in down payment options, and zero-percent interest financing deals.
Lexus Philippines rolled out exclusive offers across its RX lineup, which makes the luxury models more affordable. Aside from the highlighted model range, the LBX, NXh, and the GX are also available with promos.
On the other hand, Toyota has highlighted the Wigo, Raize, and Tamaraw in its recent campaign, which puts its Straight Cash option in the spotlight. The said promo cuts off some P40,000 from select variants of the said models.

Lexus is not the only luxury brand with tempting deals last month. Mercedes-Benz released a promo that cuts down the price of a vehicle from P200,000 to as much as P2.5 million. Namely, the discounts are for the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 4MATIC (and EQB 250+ Electric Art) and the EQS 450 4MATIC AMG Line Sedan.
Aside from the discount, those who purchased a vehicle from the executive brand also received a 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen Replica.

The first leg was in SM Southmall in Alabang, but will have legs in other parts of the country.
Dealer openings
Launching cars and offering promos isn’t the only game played by local brands. They also work to expand their reach, and in extension, their ability to service their customers, with new dealership openings.
Jetour Auto Philippines was one of the many brands that did so, with the opening of its new facility in Calamba. It is operated in partnership with Areza Motors Sales Incorporated and is positioned to serve customers across the entire Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon (CALABARZON) region.
