MANILA: MG Motor Philippines has unveiled three new offerings at the ongoing 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

New MG HS PHEV
The new MG HS PHEV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor that can deliver a total of 268 horsepower (hp).
Photo by Cesar Guiderone MiguelThis is mated to a 21.6-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery that gives the vehicle a pure electric range of 100 kilometers and—with a full tank of fuel—provides a combined range of more than 1,000 kilometers (km).
It also comes with dual 12.3-inch displays, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, and premium interior appointments and MG Pilot's full suite of driver assistive technologies.
All-new MG RX9 PHEV
Serving as MG’s flagship seven-seater PHEV SUV, the all-new RX9 PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline-fed mill and an electric motor that can produce a combined churn of 295 hp.

The all-new MG RX9 PHEV also boasts:
- Dual digital screens
- A 12-speaker Bose audio system
- Ventilated front seats with massage function with 12-way power seat adjustment and memory function
- Tri-zone climate control
- MG Pilot's full suite of driver assistive features
MG4 EV Urban
A compact full-electric vehicle, the MG4 EV Urban is meant for modern city living.
Propelling the vehicle is an electric motor that can give 147.5 hp, matched to a 43.2-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. This configuration gives the vehicle a driving range of up to 403 kilometers (NEDC) and fast charging from 20 to 80 percent takes approximately 35 minutes.

On top of these, the prices of the MG HS PHEV and RX9 PHEV include a seven-kilowatt wall charger (valued at P30,000) and an additional P10,000 retention incentive while awaiting delivery of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the MG4 Urban EV comes bundled with a seven-kilowatt wall charger (valued at P30,000). However, the total P80,000 worth of benefits is available only to the model’s first 100 customers.

Sharing the trio’s limelight is the MG G50 PHEV. Per MG Motor Philippines, the multi-purpose vehicle already has already received more than 1,000 reservations nationwide, with the first batch of customer units now officially released.
“The Next Wave Continues reflects MG’s ongoing commitment to bringing more advanced and accessible mobility solutions to the Philippines,” MG Motor Philippines President Wei Wei Zhang said.
