Xpress mobile app showcases offerings at PhilSME 2024

MANILA: New mobility app Xpress showcased its various offerings at the recently-concluded Philippine SME Business Expo 2024.

The latest mobile app — which is backed by Cebuana Lhuillier — joined the event conducted at the SMX Convention Center over the weekend after it recently acquired licenses from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to be one of the transportation network companies for four-wheeled vehicle and participate in the technical working group (TWG) for two wheels.

At the event, the company showcased its core services, which is the two-wheel and four-wheel Ride. The up and running offering is made up of a fleet of motorcycle taxis, cars, and sport utility vehicles.

Per Xpress, it will soon offer courier, food and grocery delivery services as well. The company’s booth laid out possible business-to-business partnerships to its visitors.

What is Xpress?

Xpress is a mobile app designed to provide a seamless and efficient solution on getting around the metropolis.

“As we move further to going face-to-face with our daily transactions whether for business or personal, we saw the need to provide Filipinos with a platform that will aid them in traveling worry-free and seamlessly, thus the Xpress app was born. This app is tailor-fit to address the transportation needs of Filipinos, taking into consideration the safety of the drivers and their clients,” Xpress Chairman Jean Henri Lhuillier shared.

Per Xpress, it has partnered with Google and Microsoft to ensure efficient driver-passenger matching and boost innovation in the industry.

Further, Xpress shared that its partner drivers are skilled in driving but also uphold the highest standards of moral character.

The app also includes an option for users to add emergency contacts. They are also safeguarded by Chubb Insurance — offering up to P1-million coverage per trip.

The app also features an option wherein both drivers and passengers can provide feedback through a mutual rating system.
