Powerful engines under the hood
Attractively designed
A good number of safety features offered
Three engine variants on offer
The Terra has got a very good road presence, thanks to the large dimensions it has been bestowed with. The heightened stance, as well as muscular appeal of the front fascia, does give the Terra an intimidating appeal which usually people expect from full-size SUVs.
Since the Terra is a seven-seater full-size SUV, it packs in a tremendous amount of space on the inside. In addition to the first and second row, even the last row is quite spacious for adults, which makes the Terra the roomiest SUV in its class.
Complementing the way Terra looks is its go-anywhere ability, as the four-wheel drivetrain of the SUV makes it capable to traverse over any kind of terrain.
The top end trim is slightly on the expensive side
AWD not available on the 1.9-litre engine variant
The same big dimensions which do give the Terra massive road presence do play a spoilsport when it comes to in-city maneuverability. The vehicle feels too big to drive in tight traffic conditions, which hampers its ease of driving.
While the Terra is priced as a premium full-size SUV, the interior cabin does not feel too special. The layout of the dashboard has been kept simple, and while it packs in all the essential features, it could have done with a few more special features to justify its premium positioning.
Given the high ground clearance and slightly boxy design, the Terra suffers from a considerable amount of body roll, and at the same time, the soft suspension makes the overall ride a bit bouncy at higher speeds.
