Honda Safety Driving Centre completes 10 years in the Philippines
MANILA: Honda Safety Driving Centre (HSDC) is among the first motorcycle riding schools in the Philippines, which provides certification to two- and four-wheelers riders along with truck drivers. The driving centre celebrated 10 successful and prosperous years of service in the country along with other Honda group of companies, Honda Manufacturing Parts Corporation (HMPC), Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) and Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) as a gesture of Thanksgiving.

On the completion of 10 years, HSDC made people aware of their efforts and projects in the past that depicted their long-term commitment to building a responsible community of users. The One Honda Road Safety (1HRS) campaign was brought to light which was among the best road safety programs and received the ‘Driven to Serve’ award by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists. Tha campaign was a joint initiative of the group of Honda companies.

HSDC offered free Honda motorcycle service to the attendees and introduced to their latest mascot, Safety Raido. The company also announced new services like Basic Group Riding Course and the Big Bike Safety Riding Course. The centre, in addition to celebrating the occasion, handed over the ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ to all of its road safety program partners for making their every single effort towards safety count.

HSDC is gearing up to launch some of the innovative road safety campaigns for better awareness about accident prevention, risk reduction and road safety. A new program called Dealer Road Safety Program is ready to get underway that features training courses with road safety tips in both audio and video formats for better customer understandings. It is yet another effort towards forming a responsible and safe riding environment in the country and eliminating bad road habits.
The centre provides road safety training courses and conducts seminars around legal safety manoeuvres for motorcycle riding for beginners who are new to riding or a refresher who wants to relearn driving and other road safety norms.
