Will PH get the Yamaha XMax Tech max soon?

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) might introduce the XMax Tech Max in the country.

Although there is no confirmation from the Japanese motorcycle marque’s local arm, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) recently issued documentation about a possible release of a new product.

To note, the Tech Max badging entered the Philippines with the introduction of the latest version of the NMax last March.

Here are specifications of the supposedly Yamaha XMax Tech Max as stated in Memorandum Circular MVL-2025-4762 issued last November 4.

On paper, the automatic transmission motorcycle measures:

Powering the motorcycle is a single cylinder, 292-cubic-centimeter engine that allows it to reach a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour.

The abovementioned bits of information are similar to the existing version in the Philippines, which made Zigwheels Philippines assume that this could be a new variant for the local XMax lineup.

Further, this version is likely the option we first saw in Cabanatuan early this year, which still has to carry the Techmax option.

Should we be correct, this Yamaha XMax will likely come with the following:

• 13-liter fuel tank
• Thin-film-transistor display with an onboard navigation system that can be utilized via the Garmin StreetCross app
• Underseat compartment that can hide up to two full-size helmets and a USB Type-C socket
• Hydraulic single disc brakes with anti-locking system and traction control
• Telescopic fork (front) and a unit swing (rear)
