Yamaha Motor PH starts advance access period for 'updated' Nmax

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has opened the “advance access” period for the updated Nmax — specifically for the Nmax Tech Max version. 

Availability for the aforementioned reservation period for the first 155 customers has been opened since last night until March 11. The units of the refreshed automatic transmission motorcycle offering bought during the advance reservation period will be released on March 15 at Arcovia City, Pasig. 

For the said initiative, YMPH partnered with Motortrade, one of the brand's long-time dealer-partners in the country.

 

For now, the brand has yet to release the detailed specifications of the new ride. However, Zigwheels Philippines received information that it will likely come with updated LED projector headlamps, dual-channel anti-lock braking, and Yamaha’s electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (YECVT). 

With regard to the rest of the updated ride’s mechanical details, let’s check out the one that was previously released in Indonesia. 

2025 Yamaha Nmax: specifications

In the Indonesian market, which received first dibs on the updated model last year, the 2025 Nmax uses a four-stroke, single overhead cam, four-valve 155-cubic centimeter engine capable of dishing out 15 horsepower and 14.2 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Per the said engine output figure, it makes 0.3 Nm more torque than the outgoing model. 

Moreover, the updated Yamaha scooter in Indonesia was kitted out with the town commuting and sport touring drive modes. The said modes are paired with the T-Shift system, which is able to be set at low, medium, and high drive levels.
