I value performance a lot, and that is the main reason why I purchased the Changan UNI-K after a series of test drives, including some of the top-notch competitors. This SUV’s acceleration is sharp, and enough linear power is delivered by the turbo engine. Paddle shifters contribute to an enjoyable driving experience. On winding mountain roads, its stability at high speeds wooed me completely. The suspension does not feel harsh, and on slippery surfaces, the AWD system works intelligently. At this price point, I expected compromises, but the engineers of Changan clearly didn’t.
