When I first saw the EH7 for the first time, I fell in love with its understated elegance. In comparison to many Chinese offerings that have to try too hard to impress, the Hongqi EH7 grabs everyone’s eyeballs with subtlety. Its athletic proportions and wide stance feel premium in comparison to many of the German sedans I’ve driven. The low height gives it a sporty edge, and its handling is stable. For someone who is a bit hesitant about switching to a Chinese brand from European sedans, the EH7 makes the transition feel reassuring and natural. It’s really rare for a Chinese electric vehicle to feel this poised and premium.
