Hongqi PH starts selling EH7, E-HS7

MANILA: The Hongqi EH7 and E-HS7 are now available for retail in the Philippines.

The two latest offerings — revealed globally at the recent Paris Motor Show — reflects the brand’s take of electric luxury. They are currently being displayed at the premium automotive marque’s dealership in Manila Bay.

Here’s what the buyers can get from EVOxTerra’s newest offerings.

Vehicle specifications

EH7

The Hongqi EH7 measures:

It comes with exterior appointments such as:

• Upside-down L-shaped LED headlamps with daytime running lights

Inside, the Hongqi EH7 features creature comforts that come in the form of:

• Electronically-adjustable steering wheel (automatic linkage with seat and rear-view mirror)

• Dual digital screens (infotainment has Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity)
• 10-12 speaker configuration
• Ambient lamp (with music rhythm function)
• Intelligent touch panel
• Electronic gear shifter
• Dual-zone air-conditioning system (with Anion generator)

Depending on the chosen option, the Hongqi EH7 is powered by one or two electric motors (in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations).

These mills are paired with batteries (either lithium iron phosphate or six-series ternary type) that offer a range of 510-640 kilometers (kms) based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure. Such a setup lets the car jump 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 3.5 seconds.

Further, the vehicle can be juiced up from 0-80 percent in as fast as 20 minutes.

Its driver assistive and safety technologies are:

On the other hand, the Hongqi e-HS7 has the following measurements:

• Distinct upside-down L-shaped matrix LED headlamps with manual leveling adjuster

Step inside the crossover’s cabin and customers will see the following amenities:

• Manual or electronically-adjustable steering wheel covered in Microfiber leather/dermal
• Dual-zone air-conditioning system with automatic air quality control and fragrance system
• Leather seats
• Electronically-adjustable front seats (with massage function for driver)
• 15.5-inch liquid crystal display monitor with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity
• 63-inch head-up display

Similar to its electrified sedan brethren, the Hongqi e-HS7 has electric motors in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive set-up paired with an 85- or 111-kwh battery that lets the vehicle cover 475-510 kms. 

This model, Hongqi Philippines noted, can run 0-100 kph in 3.9 seconds.

Moreover, the vehicle has nearly the similar driver assistive and safety functions as the eH7.

Lastly, the Hongqi e-HS7 is also available in two trims and here are their prices:

To note, Hongqi Philippines is also offering six months of free charging (or up to P50,000 worth of charging credits) at EVOxCharge stations nationwide.
