dated yet practical
In all these years, the Hyundai Accent has not changed much, which makes me feel as if I am driving a generation old car, which sadly, it is. However, there is still no doubt in the fact that as compared to its rivals, the Accent’s fluidic design still looks timeless and new. It is only the cost-cutting measures like lack of modern features in and out, that makes me think over for newer models in the market. I do miss even the basic modern features like a touchscreen infotainment system, push button start, fog lamps and alloy wheels, which are somehow considered essential in a sedan of today’s generation. Though, the decent fit and finish levels as well as performance from the 1.6 liter diesel engine is quite satisfactory. Also, one more area which I think needs a bit of improvement, and that it the utilization of space inside the cabin. Wish it could have done with a bit more legroom and headroom.
