Slow to accelerate

I’m not at all impressed with the Toyota Camry. It is very slow to accelerate and doesn’t pick up speed quickly. I have to put my full force into pressing the gas pedal, which irritates me. My previous car was more responsive and faster to accelerate. Whenever I drive the Camry the other cars constantly pass by me which is really frustrating. My foot starts aching badly from having to push the gas pedal harder than what I am used to. Because of all these complexities, I hate driving this car. It feels powerful when I’m driving it at a high speed, but I drive it mostly around town so the speed is always modest leading to below-average performance.
