The comfort level is high inside the Hiace but when you consider the cabin layout, you feel like you are sitting inside a vehicle that is out of its time. However, this is compensated by a powerful engine that easily moves the vehicle at decent speed even when it is fully loaded. This makes the vehicle a great people mover.
