2025 Mazda Fan Festa PH kicks off

MANILA: The first leg of the 2025 Mazda Fan Festa Philippines successfully kicked off last weekend at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Mabalacat, Pampanga. 

The aforementioned event, which was organized by Mazda Philippines, together with the Manila Sports Car Club (MSCC), saw numerous fun activities initiated by the car brand’s partners. Simagic allowed event goers to try out its premium sim-racing rigs, while PartsPro and Shell Pilipinas Corporation showed off their respective array of car-related products. 

Likewise present to showcase its line of performance parts for Mazda cars was AutoExe, the car brand’s official aftermarket partner. 

2025 MSCC Miata Spec Series

One of the big highlights of this year’s Mazda Fan Festa, however, is the integration of the MSCC Miata Spec Series into its program. 

For the unaware, the said racing series is run solely using the Mazda MX-5 Soft-top, which was all lightly modified primarily for safety and stability.

The first race of the MSCC Miata Spec Series Round 1 was run in the morning, well into the scorching hot sun of noon. The second race, meanwhile, saw inclement weather that further challenged its lineup of participants.

Other on-track activities

Additionally, Mazda and MSCC also organized, for the first time ever, the Fan Endurance race.

Per its name, the on-track activity allowed Mazda owners with Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) racing licenses to have a go at CIS for a one-hour endurance run.

For Mazda owners who merely want to try to run their cars at CIS without the pressure of competition, the event also held the Track Experience activity.
