A Spindle Grilled 2016 Lexus LX 570, Leaked Photo

MANILA: Few days back, a leaked visual of the Lexus LX's sibling- the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser appeared that displays the front makeover, it seems that the automakers are focusing more on the looks and why they should not? After all, it is the looks which catch the eyes first. Somewhat on the same track, a Japanese magazine, “Best Car” has published a photo showing the facelifted 2016 Lexus LX 570.

The intrusiveness might not be fully satisfied with only one leaked photo from the vehicle's home country, but the relieving factor is that the facelift is very refreshing and encouraging. We can spot a prominent spindle grille, new headlamps with LED daytime running lights, boomerang-shaped fog lamps, and a refurbished front bumper. Not considerable, but still a modified rear bumper and new tail lamp design can be expected as some of the changes at the back.

With no reliable information in hand of what lies beneath the hood, it can be guessed that the facelifted LX 570 will receive the same 5.7 liter V8 power plant which delivers satisfying performance of 389 HP of power at 5600 rpm and 546 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. The chances are that this engine will be mated with six-speed automatic transmission and the car will support all-wheel drive system.

From technical point of view, it can be supposed that the LX would receive the advanced Lexus Safety System which would include the lane departure alert, automatic high beam, pedestrian pre-collision system, dynamic radar cruise control, and many other such features.

All the expectations laid down here, will leave the car lovers with smile or somber, can only be told once some more details are released by Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automakers, Toyota.
