BYD Cars PH establishes presence in Bicol Region, opens CamSur dealership

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines has further expanded its presence in the Philippines with the opening of its latest dealership in the Bicol Region.

Recently, the Chinese electric vehicle’s local arm inaugurated BYD Camarines Sur — a dealership managed by Fast Group and Horizon Auto Services, Incorporated.

Moreover, BYD Cam Sur’s customers can also expect world-class service and aftersales care that is on par with the legacy brands we have come to know over the years," ACMobility Chief Operating Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said.

“Our official presence in Camarines Sur reminds us that we are here to open the market to sound mobility options, creating a new era of mobility that cares for the environment and moves the country forward,” he added.

Located along Maharlika Highway within Barangay San Jose in Pili, the new facility boosts the brand’s footprint outside of Metro Manila and provides clients in the region “an easy access to innovative electric vehicles and reliable charging infrastructure.”

Per the Ayala-led distributor, the new establishment measures 1,658 square meters that has a showroom and exhibition area that can display up to seven cars and a workshop area with six work bays and a service lounge.

The dealership also features a seven-kilowatt charger dedicated to service BYD customers.

“With a state-of-the-art showroom, a fully equipped service area, and a 24/7 charging facility that is crucial for travelers to the region, this dealership reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional support and driving the adoption of sustainable transportation here in the province of Camarines Sur,” the dealer-partner’s executive noted.

For his part, BYD Philippines Country Head Aiffy Liu stated that BYD Cam Sur serves as a testament to the brand’s commitment to making electric vehicles accessible to more Filipinos.

"As the global leader in new energy vehicles that is celebrating 30 years of innovation, we continue to strengthen our efforts in driving the transition to sustainable transportation and bringing innovative solutions to more locations throughout the Philippines, such as the Bicol region," he explained.

The marque’s 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) facility in Camarines Sur provides support to its customers in the area as its showroom is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays to Sundays, while the aftersales, only until Saturdays.
