CAMPI-TMA Sept. 2025 YTD sales dip

MANILA: The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) experienced a slight sales dip in its overall sales for the past nine months.

    Last month alone, the organizations sold 38,029 units, which also showed a 3.8-percent dive from the 39,542-example performance for the same month the previous year. When compared to August 2025’s 36,174-vehicle output, it is higher by a little over than five percent, which according to the groups, signals “renewed consumer confidence and sustained market momentum.”

    Despite the outcome, CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez expressed firm belief that they will “close the year on a high note,” adding that the September results reflect the industry’s adaptability and commitment to innovation.”

    Vehicle sales per category

    Holding almost 80 percent of the CAMPI-TMA sales for January-September 2025 are the models under the commercial vehicle category — selling 275,104 examples and enjoying an 8.2 percent growth.

    Meanwhile, passenger car sales are only at 69,306-unit mark — 23.6-percent lower than the 90,765 vehicles turned over to clients back in January-September 2024.

    The same record showed that out of CAMPI-TMA’s January-September 2025 sales, around 20,000 examples came from new energy models — most of which coming from the hybrid segment.

     CAMPI-TMA leader as of Sept. 2025

    Keeping its lead ahead of other local automotive distributors is Toyota Motor Philippines — handing over 164,797 vehicles to customers for the first nine months of 2025. This allowed the firm to hold 47.99 percent of the market. Also maintaining its position as the groups’ second placer is   Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation  with 65,421 units delivered to clients and cornering 19.05 percent of the pie.

    Ford Motor Company Philippines overtook Nissan Philippines after the former enjoyed a 16,688-unit sales performance versus the latter’s 16,621.

    Suzuki Philippines kept a strong grip on the fifth place in the CAMPI-TMA sales rankings with 16,390 units sold.
