The vehicles could be launched in the second half of 2026.Not too long ago, Zigwheels Philippines was invited by the Inchcape Philippines-led brand to visit its headquarters in Chongqing, China.
There, one of the brand’s marketing specialists hinted that the Changan Nevo Q07 and the updated Q05 might reach the country sometime this year.
The correspondent was able to see the said nameplates in the metal when Changan Philippines took Filipino media delegates to the marque’s research and development center in Liangjiang.
Here is a quick look at the two models that will likely be made available to car buyers in the Philippines soon.

Changan Nevo Q07
The Changan Nevo Q07 — also called the Qiyuan Q07 in its home market — is a plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicle that uses a 1.5-liter hybrid engine with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) mated to an electronic continuously variable transmission system.
Its internal combustion engine makes some 96 horsepower (hp) while the electric motor dishes out approximately 221 horses. Torque peaks at 330 Newton-meters (Nm).
The Changan Nevo Q07 has a combined range of 1,345 to 1,400 kilometers (km).
Striking exterior details include a clean-looking fascia with the Changan “101” badge at the fore, neat LED illumination, flush door handles, elegant claddings on the wheel arches and side sills, blacked-out pillars, and a black roof.
It rides on a set of two-tone wheels.
The cabin of the Changan Nevo Q07 has a single screen (measuring 15.4 inches) set at the center of its dashboard, giving a clean layout. Likewise, the D-shaped steering wheel with multi-functional controls also gives an uncluttered appeal.
A quick browse at Changan’s China website reveals that the Nevo Q07 also comes with a 12.8-inch pull-down “passenger entertainment screen,” a head-up display, and a screen for the rear occupants.
Updated Changan Q05
Filipinos are no strangers to the Changan Q05. However, the nameplate’s latest iteration is also propelled by an all-electric powertrain.
The PMSM at the front wheel axle produces 160 hp and 190 Nm. Estimated range is from 405 to 506 km.
Notable exterior appointments include a front end that is now less conservative, thanks to more angular appliques in the form of its LED lighting. They now have more curves with sharper looks compared to the would-be outgoing model.
It also gets flush handles, black claddings on the wheel wells and side sills, dark-colored pillars, and a garnish at the rear end that kind of gives it a floating roof effect.
The new Changan Nevo Q05 sits on a set of two-tone wheels with noticeably chunky tires.
Inside, the vehicle also boasts leather upholstery and a two-part screen: one (instrument panel) measuring 10.17 inches, while the other (infotainment system) measures 15.6 inches.
Other notable features, according to the website, include voice interaction and an artificial intelligence smart partner.
Possible launch
Since Zigwheels Philippines believes that Changan Philippines could launch the Eado Plus and CS55 Plus at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show 2026, it is possible that the arrival of the Changan Nevo Q07 and updated Q05 could happen later.
Our guess is probably in the second half of the year.
