Chevrolet’s Dual Treat at Bangkok International Motor Show - Just 5 Days Away

MANILA: 37th Bangkok International Motor Show is just around the corner with just five days left before it opens its doors to the general public. Meanwhile, all the automakers on the other side of the gateway are busy setting their booth to the best of their ability in order to attract the maximum possible crowd. While some do that by the way of high-tech features and attractive machine display, for others their four-wheeled mechanical toys do all the magic. This time at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, Chevrolet is planning to list its name in the later category.

This year for the Thailand centered auto show, Chevrolet is prepping up to introduce two concepts - one in form of an SUV and other one being a pickup. As per our knowledge and what's going on in the market, the two are perceived as facelifted version of Trailblazer and Colorado respectively, both being Chevrolet's best-selling vehicles around the globe.

Chevrolet in its 37th Bangkok International Motor Show Press Release talked about 'unveiling' of 'two show vehicles' and accompanying it was a single teaser image. The orange-black car in the teaser looks like a revamped Colorado, now with a broader hood with a carbon fiber scoop in the center, new roof rack, huge flared wheel arches, daytime running lights and a snorkel. As for its concept SUV, dubbed as the future facelifted version of Trailblazer, it's still a surprise with no information on the same flowing out.

Chevrolet Bangkok Motor Show booth is not all about concepts whose future arrival always is a mystery, but it will also house the new 2016 Chevrolet Captiva SUV. The all new Captiva is dubbed as the 'first SUV in Thailand that supports Apple CarPlay'.

As for the Chevrolet lineup in the Philippines market, we have both Trailblazer (5-year coverage promo moving till 31st March 2016) and Colorado running on the roads. But with 2016 MIAS just three weeks away, who knows we get to see the new Chevrolet concepts making their appearance at the four-day long event.
