Denza formally enters PH market, starts with 4-dealer network

MANILA: Denza has officially started its retail operations in the Philippines — days after it announced its arrival in the country.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What are the initial dealer partners of Denza in the Philippines?

The initial dealer partners of Denza in the Philippines are ACMobility Premium Dealership, Harmony New Energy Auto Service PH Limited Corporation, and E-Vantage Motors Incorporated.
  • Which Denza models are most likely to be introduced in the Philippine market?

Denza will most likely bring in the D9, B5, and B8 models for the Philippine market.
  • The local arm of the BYD Group’s premium sub-brand marked the occasion with the ceremonial dealership awarding held in Denza Makati (located along Chino Roces Extension).

The initial dealer-partners that were given the dealership status were:

Harmony New Energy Auto Service (Philippines) Limited Corporation

    • Denza Greenhills

Per Denza Philippines, the aforementioned companies represent the “first step in building a premium ownership ecosystem designed to support Denza customers nationwide.”

During his speech at the event, BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division General Manager Lie Xueliang shared how the brand continues to enjoy traction across international markets by redefining what modern premium means in the age of electrification.

“Across Asia-Pacific, we’ve seen strong momentum for Denza as more markets embrace premium new energy vehicles. That experience gives us confidence in the Philippines, where consumers are increasingly sophisticated and ready to engage with a brand that combines intelligent technology with refined design and comfort,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, BYD and Denza Philippines Country Head Adam Hu reaffirmed the premium marque’s long-term commitment to the market.

The local executive noted that Denza Philippines will serve as the sole distributor of the brand locally— with a clear strategy focused on sustainable growth rather than short-term volume.

“Our role in the Philippines is to build Denza the right way — with leadership, clarity, and long-term intent. We’re not here simply to introduce vehicles, but to establish a premium brand that Filipino customers can trust and grow with over time,” he explained.

    Other stories:

Further, Hu also mentioned that aside from expanding its dealership footprint within the year, it will also gradually introduce a broader portfolio of premium new energy vehicles across key segments. These, he added, will be both “intentional and aligned with the brand’s philosophy.”

“The Philippine market is advancing rapidly and is ready for a new expression of premium. Our responsibility as brand leaders is to introduce Denza in a way that reflects local expectations while staying true to its global standards,” he said.

Although no one from the executives announced what nameplates will Denza offer to the local market, the models that were displayed in the dealership are:

    • B5
    • B8

Details about the three models are expected to be shared next month. However, Zigwheels Philippines has a strong belief that the models offered will be in hybrid format. High likely, the two sport utility vehicles will have the DM-O technology (first seen in the BYD Shark 6 DM-O) and the people hauler, in DM-i format.
