Drive home a Toyota GR Supra for as low as P41,584 per month

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines makes it easier to drive home a brand-new sports car as it now offers monthly plans "as low as P41,584 or even 0% interest" on the GR Supra.

The iconic Supra nameplate was first introduced in the 1970s as an upgraded version of the Toyota Celica. The first-generation Celica Supra featured an inline-six engine. It is also one of the first Toyota models to have an electronic fuel injection system.

Its second generation was launched in 1980s, featuring a sharper design compared to its predecessor. During the mid-'80s, the Supra finally became an official Toyota model. The third-generation Supra is powered by an updated 3.0-liter inline-six engine that generates 200hp. A turbocharged version of the powertrain was also launched, producing up to 230hp. In the '90s, Toyota unveiled the fourth-generation Supra that showcased a bolder look inspired by the 2000GT.

After 17 years, the Supra nameplate made a market comeback under Toyota’s global motorsports division. Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) introduced the fifth-generation Supra, with “GR” in its official model name.

The GR Supra was developed to provide a more powerful and luxurious driving experience. It is based from Toyota’s unique design philosophy that focuses on having an athletic stance and aerodynamic look. The GR Supra is motivated by a twin-scroll turbocharged, in-line six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine that produces a maximum power output of 335hp and 500Nm of torque. Its nearly perfect weight distribution enables better handling and cornering. The GR Supra’s sleek design also reflects its powerful performance on the road. It is designed with a double-bubble roof, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, and custom-made Michelin tires. On the inside, the stylish sporty model features a luxurious black interior with carbon trims. As a driver-friendly car, the GR Supra is upholstered with Alcantara sports seats with eight-way power adjust and memory and power seat lumbar support. The vehicle is also equipped with an 8.8-inch widescreen TFT LCD touchscreen display with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes with a 12-speaker high fidelity surround sound system by JBL.
