Ford Island Conquest heads to Davao, Cagayan de Oro this month

MANILA: The Ford Island Conquest (FIC) will head to Davao and Cagayan de Oro this month. 

Specifically, Ford Philippines’  test drive roadshow in Mindanao is being held in the King City of the South today up to September 15 at the Mall Atrium of SM Lanang Premier Davao.

The event’s visit to the City of Golden Friendship, meanwhile, will kick off on September 20-22, 2024, at the Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. 

To note, FIC is an experiential test drive event, where those interested can get behind the steering wheels of the Blue Oval brand’s local model lineup. Available for test drives at both FIC rounds are the Territory, Everest, Ranger, and Bronco. 

Like the previous FIC events, the test drivers will be allowed to take the said models through a specially designed course. Doing so will showcase the vehicle’s features and capabilities.

Additionally, visitors who have performed test drives at the said events are provided with a P5,000 discount for the Ford model of their choosing. Folks who make a reservation can also get a P20,000 cash discount and the chance to take advantage of Ford’s “Pick-a-Prize” promo.

Under the Pick-a-Prize promo, participants may win a much larger cash discount of P100,000. Other prizes from the promo include smaller discounts ranging from P50,000-P10,000, an accessories package, an air-purifier, a dash cam, a fuel voucher, and a director’s chair, among others. 

“We are excited to bring the Ford Island Conquest in Mindanao and reach more customers in Davao and Cagayan de Oro which are key markets for us,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen said. 

“We have seen huge success from previous FIC roll-outs in both these cities, so we are excited to bring the FIC experience back not just as test drive event but also as a fun family weekend bonding activity,” Breen said. 

At both FIC legs, the event grounds are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
