Ford PH reveals judging panel for 22nd Henry Ford Awards

MANILA: Ford Philippines has announced the judging panel that will assess and determine the winners of the 22nd Henry Ford Awards.

The Henry Ford Awards is the first and only awards program of its kind in the local automotive sector that honors excellence in motoring journalism. It has a two-part judging process, with each stage having its own panel of judges. Respected members of the academe with expertise in journalism and communication studies, as well as seasoned experts in public affairs and corporate communications, design, photography, video production, and digital publishing, make up the selection committee.

Here is the list of judges for the 22nd Henry Ford Awards:

First Phase

• Kara David - Chair, Department of Journalism, University of the Philippines Diliman
• Christian Esguerra - Assistant Professor, Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Santo Tomas
• Manny Mogato - Lecturer, Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Santo Tomas
• Severino Sarmenta - Assistant Professor, Department of Communication, Ateneo De Manila University
• Prestoline Suyat - Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism, Polytechnic University of the Philippines

Second Phase

• Bea Bautista - Philippines Communications Manager, Meta Philippines
• Owen Cammayo - Executive Director, BPI Foundation
• Kenneth Lerona - Head of Public Relations, Home Credit Philippines
• Krisca Tadena - Head of Media Relations and Partnerships, GCash

Special Judges

• Chrissy Dalusong - Marketing Communications and Public Relations Manager, JTI Philippines
• Dino Ocampo Executive - Creative Director, Ogilvy Group Philippines
• Aaron Palabyab - Professional Film Director and Photographer
• Dix Perez - Professional Photographer and Founder, Penthouse Studios
