FordPass marks first year in PH, now has over 21-K users

MANILA: It has been a year since Ford launched the FordPass app in the Philippines. And now, over 21,000 users are enjoying the full benefits of the app.

According to the local arm of the Blue Oval brand, FordPass can help customers enjoy a better ownership experience as the app is a one-stop platform with an array of functional and practical features that offer convenience to Ford customers.

For example, Ford vehicle owners can enjoy technologies such as remote door lock and unlock, remote engine start and stop with pre-cooling, vehicle locator, and vehicle status checker.

Other intelligent features offered by the FordPass app are the intelligent oil life monitor and tire pressure monitoring.

“We are so pleased that our customers are able to appreciate the useful features of FordPass as an app that can really enhance the ownership experience. We are excited to introduce more features and further enhance the user interface to have more Ford owners enjoy the benefits of a connected vehicle through FordPass,” stated Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

In the future, FordPass users in the Philippines will be able to use a service called online service booking. More details are expected to be released about the new feature as it nears its rollout date.

FordPass is available on mobile devices running on Android 7.0 and above and iOS 14.0 and above, and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
