Frankfurt 2015 Preview: Honda Civic Tourer Active Life Concept Exposed

MANILA: The Honda Civic Tourer Active Life Concept is revealed before its staging in upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Well, this image shows that how cleverly Honda has combined style and space together. The said concept is said to be essentially designed for those individuals who have an active lifestyle for example cyclists. The concept carries Civic Tourer's looks and wagon's class-leading cargo space.

The exterior is adorned with custom blue paint finish with gun metallic accents and silver roofline. It has specially designed aerodynamic roof box to store essential cycling gear like shoe and helmet. Other important features include custom designed rear bumper, set of 18-inch alloy wheels, built in integrated air pump, extended shade area, retractable bench, and tailgate with a large light on it.

The cargo space is of 1,668 litres with low loading height which makes easy to accommodate two bicycles on the loading rack. Other accessories include bottle holder, water tank, toolbox, and front wheel holder which are integrated within the trunk slide lining. A blue stitching line is featured on a steering wheel and gear knob along with black roof lining.

The Honda Civic Tourer is powered by a 1.6 iDTEC which recently set a new Guinness World Record for fuel economy. The diesel engine is capable of delivering 120 PS and 300 Nm of torque with an acceleration time of 10.1 seconds to reach 100 km/h from absolute 0.
