Although re-confirming its local debut next year, HCPI President Rie Miyake did not gave any specifics about the vehicle's formal introduction in the country.
Exterior
While official specifications are yet to be released, the displayed model boasts a two-door configuration with classic coupe body styling. That said, it looks sleek and stylish — like a true enthusiast’s car.
At the fore is a two-part grille with the thin, upper portion — which has long horizontal slats — connecting to its sharp-looking headlamps. Here, the marque’s emblem sits just below the bonnet. Conversely, the lower meshwork sports a honeycomb pattern.

Its rear is sexy with the sloping mirror slowly descending towards the car’s spoiler-like tail. Found here is a horizontal light bar with the new “Honda” script and the “Prelude” nameplate, tastefully written in cursive. Rounding off its exterior features is a diffuser on the rear bumper.

Interior
The cockpit of the Honda Prelude has some semblance to the currently offered Civics in the Philippines, with simple yet straightforward appointments that are not overly loud and appear to lean more towards the tastes of mature owners.
On that note, one will find here (below photo taken from Japan Mobility Show 2025 display) plenty of tactile buttons and physical knobs, which many drivers prefer. Sitting at the top of the dashboard is a floating infotainment system complemented by a digital instrument cluster.

Powertrain
HCPI is still a bit tight-lipped about what powers the Prelude, but its American counterpart is being sold with a hybrid powertrain — hence the addition of the Honda S+ Shift, alongside four other (unique) drive modes.
