Geely Auto introduces Full Domain AI 2.0, G-ASD at CES 2026

MANILA: Geely Auto Group has introduced its latest advancement in advanced driver assist systems and artificial intelligence (AI) at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026.

At the aforementioned event, the Chinese carmaker introduced the Geely Afari Smart (G-ASD) and the Full-Domain AI 2.0. 

Per Geely, the two aforementioned technologies signify its drive to innovate on how “smart vehicles are designed, built, and experienced.” Specifically, the Full-Domain AI 2.0 is its latest vehicle intelligence architecture, which enables the full integration of an entire vehicle into a singular central intelligence (a powerful computing unit). G-ASD, meanwhile, is the brand’s next revolution in ADAS that leads to real self-driving cars.

“AI is reshaping the automotive industry in many ways, from powertrains and components to a systematic reconstruction of mobility ecosystems and lifestyles, “Geely Auto Group Chief Executive Officer Jerry Gan said. 

“Geely is committed to creating safe, sustainable, and intelligent mobility for the world,” Gan added.

Full-Domain AI 2.0

Under the Full Domain AI 2.0, future Geely nameplates will be controlled by a central intelligent system. Different components of the vehicle, such as its cockpit, chassis, safety systems, and driving functions, can share data. The said result of this, Geely says, is smoother vehicle operation and better driving response. 

G-ASD

Introduced together with the Full Domain AI 2.0 is the G-ASD, which relies on advanced algorithms, high-performance sensors, and large-scale real-world data to enable safer driving and more reliable driver support even in unpredictable or complex real-world scenarios. 

Geely likewise envisions the G-ASD as a helpful tool not just for making journeys more convenient. But also for reducing driver fatigue, practical driver assistance, and as a confidence booster for drivers. 

Laying the groundwork

Even as these two new Geely innovations were introduced at CES 2026, they have yet to be demonstrated in a working driveable vehicle. 

The company, however, has disclosed that these will support future models in various markets around the world. Beyond that, Geely didn’t say when or on what vehicle the G-ASD and Full Domain AI 2.0 will be applied. So, for now, let’s wait for more updates from the brand regarding these technologies.
