Jetour T2 scores 5-star rating at 1st ASEAN NCAP test

MANILA: The Jetour T2 has scored a five-star rating on its first Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) testing. 

Per the non-profit road safety-oriented organization, the Jetour T2 achieved an overall rating of 86.50 points. Broken down, the sport utility vehicle garnered the following scores: 

Adult Occupant Protection	37.17 points
Child Occupant Protection	15.94 points
Safety Assist	17.14 points
Motorcyclist Safety	16.25 points

Some of the standard safety features fitted on the tested Jetour T2 include the following:

• Six airbags 
• Electronic stability control 
• Anti-lock braking system 
• Seatbelt reminder system 
• Blind spot detection 
• Pedestrian protection 
• Child presence detection

Its advanced driver-assist systems consist of the below technologies: 

• Autonomous emergency braking 
• Forward collision warning

• Lane departure warning 
• Automatic high beam
