Jetour Auto celebrates 2-M global sales milestone

MANILA: Jetour Auto has sold more than two million vehicles around the world since its inception in 2018.

In a statement, Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) shared that the achievement — reached as of October 30, 2025 — “reflects strong market recognition and user trust in the brand’s products and strategy” as well as the brand’s “position in the global automotive landscape and its entry into the top rank of mainstream players.”

The Chery-owned vehicle manufacturer’s local arm recalled that for the brand’s global debut in 2018, it brought out the X70, which hit the 10,000-unit-in-monthly-sales target by end of the same year.

In August 2021, the company’s cumulative sales were already at the 400,000th-vehicle mark and reached the 600,000th-unit milestone in November the following year.

Come January 2024, Jetour Auto’s overall sales breached the one-million-unit landmark.

Per the marque’s distributor in the country, Jetour Auto has remained committed to its “Travel+” strategy, continuously accelerating its global expansion. At the time of publishing this article, the company is present in 91 countries — putting up more than 2,000 sales and service networks.

The company mentioned that in its home country, Jetour leads sales in the Light Off-road segment while in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar included), it ranks among the top three in the overall market and is the top-selling Chinese automotive brand.

Further, Jetour Auto is already at the fourth place among Chinese SUV brands in South Africa after being present in the region for just a year.

Commenting on the achievement, JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose expressed firm belief that the sales feat demonstrates that Jetour Autop is already a recognized global player.

“This milestone reflects the trust of our customers and the strength of our strategy. But it is just the beginning. As we enter the premium hybrid off-road segment, we are raising the bar, setting new standards, and redefining what a smart, adventurous driving experience can be,” he said.
