Geely Holding Group’s Sept. 2025 YTD sales nearly hit 3-M mark

MANILA: Zhejiang Geely Holding Group’s sales for the first nine months of 2025 nearly breached the three-million-unit mark.

In a statement, the group — composed of Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Proton, Lotus, Smart, Radar, LEVC, and Farizon — retailed 2,953,452 units. The said figures reflect a 29-percent increase year-on-year.

Out of the aforementioned sales volume, 1,590,866 units (54 percent) came from electrified models — reflecting a 68-percent rise year-over-year.

For the third quarter alone, Geely Holding’s retail performance across its portfolio of automotive marques were at 1,020,913 — its first time to sell more than one million in quarterly sales. This reflected a 28-percent jump compared to the same period last year.

Further, the group’s electrified offerings collectively sold 588,110 units, which cornered 58-percent of the group’s third-quarter sales.

Sales breakdown

Geely Auto sold 2,170,189 units in the first nine months of 2025 — which showed a 46-percent increase. Out of its overall retail churn, 1,167,823 units (53.8-percent share) were from electrified models.

Lynk & Co experienced a 23-percent increase in retail after turning over 241,472 units to their customers while Zeekr’s sales grew by one percent after delivering 143,600 cars to clients.

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars delivered 514,294 vehicles globally in the first nine months of 2025 —227,317 of which were electrified, accounting for 44 percent of the brand’s total. Polestar handed over 44,482 fully electric vehicles in the first nine months of 2025, which is around 36.5-percent rise year-over-year.

Lastly, Farizon saw a year-on-year increase of 49.5 percent in sales for January-September after it turned over 107,257 units to buyers.
