PH-spec Hyundai Stargazer now more athletic-looking

MANILA: Shortly after reviving the Venue nameplate, Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated (HMPH) has updated the Stargazer line for the local market.

Same as the one revealed at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the revamped seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) now comes with a meaner look and updated amenities.

Here are the features of the new Hyundai Stargazer.

On paper, Hyundai’s people-hauler measures:

The new Hyundai Stargazer carries a sport utility vehicle-like look thanks to its redesigned fascia.

Among the updates given to the model’s spruced-up version are:

• Sheriff-style front combination lights
• Hyundai’s latest take of the H-signature LED daytime running lights and bumper.
• Functional bridge-type roof rail (exclusive to the top-level trim)
• 17-inch alloy wheels

For its cabin, the new Hyundai Stargazer comes with two 10.25-inch displays (one as a digital instrument cluster with tire pressure monitoring system and the other, an infotainment display with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity), as well as new automatic climate control system, wireless charging pad, and new ambient lighting.

Per HMPH, the Hyundai Stargazer offers flexibility in terms of cargo space as it is also equipped with the middle and third rows that can folded 60-40 and fully-flat respectively — allowing owners to haul up to 1,892 liters of load.

Under the bonnet of the Hyundai Stargazer’s latest iteration is the same a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission that has the capacity to give churns of:

Further, the Hyundai Stargazer is fitted with an improved array Hyundai SmartSense features such as Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Following and Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.

Every new Hyundai Stargazer is packaged with a free one-year preventive maintenance service (PMS) as well as free pick-up and delivery for PMS and general job repairs. This is on top of the five-year warranty.
